I will never buy another LG. I will NEVER by another LG, ever. I too have a rust issue. I followed their manual to the letter and Now I know they believe me to be an ignorant and stupid consumer. I purchased a LG Washer, top load, in July 2012 and within a year the rust started around the bleach dispenser. I went to that website but could not see the LG rusting casesaw a mildew case. So disappointed in LG, I dont think I could ever see myself buying their products again, I have permanent rust marks on floor from feet of washer..no water leaking and Im in a rentaltried everything to remove stain, no luck. besides that, they did not offer any other solution for this defect on the machine. We are very dissatisfied as we live in a small town and cant find a good repairman. How do you join this lawsuit. Same issues have sanded and tried sealing several times now its completely through the surface, NO MORE LG for us. Same. This is clearly a manufacture defect. If no water flows out, soak a towel with hot water and place it around the faucet to warm it for 5 minutes. I had rust before I even had my washer paid for.
